Free video translator for YouTube, no minute limit
Most "free" video translators give you a 30-second preview or a few credits and then ask for a card. TranslateTube's free mode is different: no minute limit, no daily cap, no card. Translate full YouTube videos with an AI voice and subtitles. The only restriction is on videos longer than three hours.
What is free
- AI dubbing with a standard male or female voice, for full-length videos.
- Translated subtitles in 33+ languages.
- Videos with or without captions.
- Chrome extension on desktop and the Android app.
What Premium adds
Higher-quality, more natural voices. That is the difference. One subscription unlocks Premium in both the extension and the app, and you can cancel any time from your account.
How it works
- Install the TranslateTube Chrome extension on a computer, or the Android app on your phone.
- Open any YouTube video and choose your language.
- Turn on AI dubbing, subtitles, or both. Pick a male or female voice.
- Press play. The translation starts within seconds and stays in sync with the video.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a catch?
No credits, no preview limit, no card. Free mode translates full videos; videos longer than three hours are not supported.
Do I need an account?
You can try it as a guest. An account lets you keep settings across devices and use Premium in both the extension and the app.
Why is it free?
The free mode uses a standard voice that is cheap to run. Premium voices cost more to generate, and that is what the subscription pays for.
Can I translate videos that are not on YouTube?
Currently YouTube only; upload a file as unlisted to translate it. More sources are planned.
